Orientation Coordinator (2022)

  • Co-led the planning and execution of TMU Engineering Orientation Week, welcoming over 1,000 new students through themed programming and community-building activities

  • Recruited, trained, and managed a team of 100+ frosh leaders and volunteers

  • Designed custom merch, planned logistics for large-scale events (like boat cruises, campus challenges, and sponsor booths), and coordinated risk management protocols

Competitions Organizer (MEC 2021)

  • Reviewed and edited all competition rulebooks and challenge abstracts to ensure clarity, fairness, and alignment with Ontario Engineering Competition (OEC) standards

  • Helped design competition prompts, scoring rubrics, and judging criteria across streams such as Consulting, Innovative Design, and Re-Engineering

  • Coordinated technical and logistical requirements for each competition stream to ensure smooth and fair execution

  • Organized and hosted networking sessions with over 15 industry representatives, connecting students with engineers, recruiters, and company partners

  • Supported day-of execution by managing judge coordination, rule clarifications, and real-time issue resolution

Electrical Director (2021-22)

  • Advocated for Electrical Engineering students within MUES and faculty, raising concerns around course content, lab resources, and academic policies
